Annual Seminar
February 20-21, 2009

The Colorado Genealogical Society will host its Annual Seminar February 20-21, 2009. Featured speakers will be Thomas H. Shawker, M.D. and Patricia O'Brien Shawker, CG.

On Friday, February 20, 2009, Dr. Shawker will address the society's regularly scheduled meeting on "Your Genealogy and Your Health" at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2300 S. Patton Ct., Denver.

On Saturday, February 21, he will present DNA Testing: the Very, Very Basics and Race Ethnicity, and Ancestry: DNA Testing. Patricia Shawker will speak on One Family's Footprint in the Federal Records and Before Statehood: Territorial Records. Friday's presentation is free and visitors are welcome.

Saturday is an all-day event at the Central Denver Public Library, 13th & Broadway, Denver, with a materials fee of $30 per person.
